ECPI College of Technology and Medical Careers Institute Announce Extension for South Carolina Military Scholarship Opportunity
ECPI College of Technology has extended its military scholarship program for South Carolina veterans who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. This scholarship program was initially introduced in fall 2005 and is also available to spouses and dependents of military veterans who have served in these regions. Up to $150,000 in scholarships is available for students who begin classes at ECPI College of Technology or Medical Careers Institute, the School of Health Science at ECPI College of Technology, campuses in Greenville, Columbia, or Charleston, South Carolina through June 30, 2009. The scholarship may also be applied to online courses at ECPI.

Culinary Institute of Virginia, the School of Culinary Arts at ECPI College of Technology, announces the appointment of Ms. Dorothea Bovani as Director of the Norfolk-based school. Prior to joining Culinary Institute of Virginia, Ms. Bovani was Campus Director of a Lancaster, PA culinary school where she set up the culinary arts program from its inception. In the first 6 years of operation, she helped grow the student base and relocate the program to a larger facility where she oversaw renovation and creation of 5 professional kitchens. Prior to that position, Ms. Bovani was Director of Education for a New York City based culinary school.
